The Nashville group is planning on some King of the Hill, a tournament style event Paul Potter runs with Halloween armies being the theme. We're looking at the April/May time frame to give folks a chance to put an army together. Should be a lot of fun and I am already starting to hear about some of the armies being created, and I will be doing one as well.

Wrong King of he Hill guys. This is a campaign format where the sides change each round as the winning king or usurper and the new challenger pick sides. So you play as a team, but the sides change each round. It's a really fun approach that Paul Potter has run numerous times and we always enjoy it in the Nashville area. This time Halloween themed armies will be used.

The Nashville area DBA/HotT Gamers have scheduled April 2nd as the day for the Halloween King of the Hill Game Day.

I am more than excited because it seems quite a few of the area gamers are building new armies for this fun event. Who knows, it may become a regular game day in the future.

To give you an idea of the theme armies, my army list is

1 x Hero General – The Headless Horseman @ 4 AP 4 Pts
2 x Riders – Skeletons @2 AP 4 Pts
2 x Warband – Wraiths @ 2 AP 4 Pts
2 x Shooter – Ghoul Bowmen @ 2 AP 4 Pts
1 x Flyer –Witch on Broomsticks w/ Bats @ 2 AP 2 Pts
1 x Lurker – Ghosts @ 1 AP 1 Pt
1 x Beast – Werewolf @ 2 AP 2 Pts
3 x Horde – Zombies @1 AP 3 Pt
Total 24 Pts

Stronghold – Graveyard with rising Zombies and/or Skeleton.

If you're in the area and want to join in you will be more than welcome. As the date gets closer we'll lock in the venue and advise that. In the meantime if you have any questions feel free to contact me.
