I'm looking for some nice Bronze age Syrian or Mitanni Slingers. Just received two packs from one of my regular manufacturers and they had glue on slings. In 15mm! There is no way to balance that and they fall like flies.! Not happy Jan. So would like a heads up on some nice replacements. |

link With a sharp knife and a pair of fine nosed flat jawed pliers you can carefully vary poses.

Black Hat have a number of slingers in their Biblical and other ranges. They all have cast on slings…. |

Museum Miniatures offer Kilted and Nude Mycenean slingers, and also a Judean slinger in their Assyrian range. |

For small quantities, loom at Essex. So no one else gets stuck in the same boat, who makes glue on slings? |

Can I get a beardless, portrait figure of little David, the sweet slinger of Israel? |

So no one else gets stuck in the same boat, who makes glue on slings? I don't know but in 15mm you could easily get a unit of loofah wielders out to exfoliate the enemy.

Relace the glue on slings with thin wire. You can give the wire a turn arond the wrist to secure it and put a small blob of glue where the sling loops. That will stay in place! |

Yes to wire. I used this to make up some slingers for 15mm Carthos. It's not as fiddly as it sounds, most poses have the fig able to be rested on his side while the glue sets. Or pin it with fast-drying superglue then hit it with something stronger. David F Brown |

Thanks for the helpful suggestions. First attempts with wire didn't work but will have a look in the hardware store for better wire! |
