After going through the Architects of War Perry minis. debacle last October, and finally being successful in getting my money back some two and a half months later, after disputing the transaction on Paypal - - I finally just decided to return to the source. And sure enough, now I remember why the Perry brothers are so awesome. I ordered some metal Hessian packs from the Perry website on Dec. 24th, just hours before Christmas. They sent out the package on the 26th, and as of a few days ago it had still not arrived. I emailed Alan and explained to him that I was concerned the package might have gotten lost during transit, given that the order was going on its third week. Alan replied back within a few hours of me emailing him. After checking the tracking on the original order and not being able to trace it, he said he would send out a replacement package right away. He sent it out the next day, no questions, no hassle, no fuss. Makes sense to buy figures from people who are wargamers themselves, and understand the frustration of an order going wrong. Just get your Perrys from the Perrys! |

That is what I have been saying for 2 years now. And if you save up to place a big order, you get free shipping and that is worth it. Normal shipping to the USA is 25% of the order. If several folks fo in together and it is £200.00 GBP or more, it's free. Plus the exchange rate between dollar and pound is much better. I fot them for $12 USD per infantry pack and I think AOW was selling them for $14 USD plus tax. And if there are any issues they take care of them right away. Matthew |

Now you may wonder why the people who stock these kind of things in the States may become fewer and fewer? Regards Russ Dunaway |

AOW was not the only place to get Perry's lines. I picked up most of my older Perry releases from the Sudan range at the warstore. One or two packs were on back order for two weeks but that was clear from their site when I ordered. I paid $11.99 USD for most packs and shipping was 6.95. |

GREAT service to the US!!! Class act ALL the way 'round!!! Been awhile since I placed an order with them… But "smooth" sailing and prompt attention/response to ANY problem I might have had!!! The Perry Brothers "Rule"!!! Charlie (NOT a "sock puppet"!) |

I agree with the assertion above about the Warstore. They were one U.S. source for Perrys that you could always rely on. Neal ships faster than anyone I've ever seen, and his communication is lightning fast, his customer service is amazing! |

Now you may wonder why the people who stock these kind of things in the States may become fewer and fewer? Frankly Russ it's because we get fantastic service from the Perry brothers. I get better service from the Perrys than I do The Warstore. That's not meant to bash TWS, but I feel the service the Perrys offer is superior. To top it off, the Perrys are almost never out of stock! |
