Seems to be build your own Mechs, with tanks and infantry being more abstract, from what I have read about it. So this , Poloyversal, and Age Of Tyrants, good start of the year for 6mm. |

It's been posted on Facebook for a few days already surprise I didn't see it here sooner. What we know it's a combined arms game and seems to design your own mechs and vehicles, and is supposed to be fast playing. And for scales 2 to 10mm, but why stop at 10? Sure you could squeeze a 15mm game out of it if you tried? |

Design Mechs and Air frames, not tanks and infantry. Is what I read on another post. |

Very interested in this, but I'll wait for some reviews as I got burned on Osprey's Ronin….. |

I've played a bunch of MechaWar, on which this new Osprey release is based. It's a pretty slick system. Not sure how the combined arms rules will work, but for me the rules hit the sweet spot for complexity. Want more info? Here's the TMP review got me hooked a while back: TMP link |

Looks like this will work for a battletech substitute, but not for hard sci fi mechanised clashes. |

Saw combat examples for both PolyV and AoT. In AoT the mods seem to be stacking, so getting a plus 8 total added to a die 6. If the mods get that high, there will be times that rolling is not needed. Outcome looks like Destroyed or Miss. In PolyV, the mods are dice, one can Suppress, Damage or Destroy a Target. All the info comes from the one dice roll. Covers At, AP, and AA Firepower. Waiting to see how HW, does their combat and turns. |
