Here are some kit-bashed space ships I've made to use in games of Rail Gun. They are made from stuff from my bits box, mostly 40k weapons but also pieces from other models. I have another 8 waiting for paint and plan to build more. They attach by magnet to my simple nail-and-base flight stands. Thanks for looking!

I really like some of those! Yeah weapons bits often make great ships.

Very cool!

Very well done. I didn't even pick up on the fact that they are made from 40K weapon bits. Normally I can tell, but you've hid that fact well.

Ditto!

Mind you, some I think take damn little work to function as ships, but yours are great!

I've some old ork bolters with grips off *I* think make great tramp freighters.

Thanks all :)

@TheBeast: Tau weapons especially work well, with their clean shapes and panel lines. Take off the grip, invert them, add a couple blocks or antenna, BAM, cruiser.

I have some drywall anchors that might become freighters.

thumbs up!

Very nice fleet. They look appropriately utilitarian and chunky. Bravo.I like the way they all look different.

Grignotage: Not telling me anything I don't already know. ;->=

Really haven't worked out 'engines' I like, though.

Very nice! I do enjoy seeing scratchbuilds like these. Always inspiring, and a reminder that one doesn't need to invest buckets of hard-earned to create nice gaming pieces. Keep it up!

Great stuff. Makes me think it has been a while since I scratch built a ship. Hmmm.

Thanks for sharing.

Indeed, very very nice. I like them infinitely more than the majority of the commercial offerings, which often look too wingy or insufficiently compact to my eye. Those are good.

It warms my evil singularity of a black heart to see some old school kitbashed starships gliding forth to conquer the galaxy… evil grin
