They still do not have the Hessians and Artillery sets for sale except in the mega sets. The price seems fair although about $10.00 USD more than WGF used to charge. |

not interested in AWI but I bet WF don`t finish this range. Bit of a track record for WF |

I believe they have finished the range as they defined it AWI British AWI Continentals Colonial Militia Indians Hessians (in combined sets) Artillery (in combined sets) |

No,maybe they won't finish this range since you can get everything you might be missing from the Perry's (totally compatible figs). But what it does do is enable you to field plastic figures for 80% of your army on a far more interesting price. That's what's called "Rank and File"and represents the bulk for these armies. Those who are intersted in AWI know this. |

I believe they have finished the range as they defined it. In fairness to WF, they promised six sets and have delivered them. Some cavalry would have been nice, though. |

Can't speak for their British & Continentals but I thought Wargames Factory Colonial Militia & Woodland Indians were nice sets. I think WG box set has got more figures, more suitable for Black Powder units. I am glad I bought the smaller WF boxes which will do me fine for skirmish gaming. |

The US price of $29 USD for 30 models is not too bad of a jump from the $25 USD for 30 model Wargames Factory was charging. Still, it is more then I will pay for them though. |

The British come only in folded hat and with long coat, right? So if you want to recreate battles in1775-76 you're all set. Shame they dodnt include a round hat option. I did ask them about this – they said it was the most easily recognisable of the British dress codes among US wargamers and that's why they chose it. If you want Philadelphia/Saratoga onwards, Alan Perry is your man. |

Fife & Drum makes figures specifically for the Philadelphia campaign, so it's British figures wear round hats and cut down coats. |

The British set did come with around 10 heads with round hats pinned up on the left. I believe they were intended for the light infantry figures, but that doesn't mean you can't use them on other figures. There are heads with regular round hats in both the Continental and Colonial Militia sets. The bigger issue for most with the WF/WL British is that they come with the warrant regimental coat rather than the cut back coat that the Perrys come with. |
