Agreed, Nice looking model. However the mold lines on the barrel need to be cleaned up.

Oh dear, looks like you've made the classic mistake of sculpting the big counterweight in front of the breech ring. This was only added when the Mk II was fitted with a muzzle brake late in 1942 – if there is no muzzle brake then the gun tube should be cylindrical all the way back to the breech

That bottom photo is a belter- I've never seen it before; do you know which unit it is? Date? Location (I'm guessing Burma)?

You are correct; this is a bit of poetic licence to enable us to do a MK2 as well. We are a wargames firm and figurative is acceptable. In a wargame the stats would be the same either way. I hope this answers your question.

Point taken about the counterweight (and I'm a big fan of Sgt's Mess stuff), but those things are beggar to file off if you don't need them and I'd have preferred a separate part.
