Heads up: if you get confused, like me, that the existing minis look exactly like Museum Miniatures' 28mm range, it's because AW Miniatures took over the manufacturing and distribution of the range. I was close to call shenanigans on the kickstarter, so it was a good thing I did some research! I have some of the Museum Miniature's range and I recently started to expand my army, so this was pretty good timing. |

Hi all of you. you got there first Tango 😀Promised Andrew to post his new kickstarter project here. Yes Aw bought the range from museum miniatures and wanted to expand the range and actually already did. The giant arquebus is made by Andrew and is very nice and crisp figure set. The armoured ashigaru too are a new addition so he is really working to expand the range. I think this is a great….and all interested in the period to come with there wishes what they would want to see from Aw miniatures. Personally I would like peasants armed with bambus spears…yes black hat make some but the aw sculps are just so much better. I cant wait to see the new palaquin….I want one with would be great for all sorts of setups in a skirmish game. What would you like to see? |

Personally, I miss mounted officers that fits well with infantry. Mounted samurai miniatures are almost exclusively made in charging poses, but often infantry would be led by mounted samurai officers. For that, I would like some armoured samurai on horses standing still, with "officer-like" poses such as pointing and/or shouting commands. I know most people seem to base infantry with dismounted officers only, so it kind of makes sense that there is not a lot of options for me, but it would be nice. But I'm happy to see the new "mini cannon", that will be very useful! |

Second that setsuko. I too would love standing horses, and peasant/ ashigaru pushing wagons/carts and aw got the women in kimonos what about unarmored samurai sitting…like in the film shogun. They did not dress up for war everyday. Well got so many terrain wishes that would have me jumping into a kickstarter project….lanterns, rice bowls, powder kegs european saker/ cannon, shrine ect…stop me😀 |

I wonder if these would mix well with the Kingsford Miniatures samurai. |

I don't have any from Kingsford, but my museum minis are a tiny bit bigger than Perrys, if that helps. |
