I posted a question about this on the painting board, but someone suggested I might get a better response here. Does anyone do these, and if so,what sort of figures do you use?

Which scale? I know that Khurasan had plans to produce them in 15mm.
This what they looked like in the 1560's

(The Swiss pikeman in the last pic is the fellow who is winning and who is not dressed in absurdly large pluderhose.)

Thi style would have been used into the 1570's but then things started to happen with German and Swiss military fashion.

I fear that in 28mm you are out of luck.

For some reason the late 16th century is still underrepresented.

If you find a suitable range, please let us know :-)

Herr von Schlockenberg

If you have not already done so, I suggest that you join the Pike and Shot Society. The P and SS has a Yahoo group on which you can raise issues.

Actually I,ve been pining over the Old Glory 28mm line--I've only seen the Landsknechts "in person",but was impressed. Sounds like maybe they wouldn't do for Swiss…thanks for the suggestions.

"Le Suyſſe" above (or a copy) is probably the source for George Gush's fig. 4) Swiss soldier, 1572, with pike and two-handed sword. His fig. 6 I mentioned in the painting thread is probably of the Cent Suisse.
