This game : link It says it plays solo as well – does it, or does it really badly ? Not that bothered by the figures – I'd only use them for the boardgame as I don't want a Chaos Space marine army. Any thoughts ? Anyone actually played it ?? Thanks ! |

Sorry it is not a game that I am interested in. |

It can be played solo or as a cooperative game, with up to 4 players playing assassins. The system for running the chaos side is pretty slick, and is based on cards, preplanned patrol paths and a few simple rules (think Zombicide). I think it is a pretty good product. The replay value may be a little limited, but it should be pretty straightforward to make some changes to it. For example: using Marines, Eldar or any other force for the attackers; and the same for the defenders. The real reason why I got it is because the rules should work just as well for other games (infiltrating ninjas, spies, Batman, etc). |

Not played it but looks like would be solo-able based on the cards/events and some randomness for room layout. 6.8/10 at boardgamegeek link |

Aha – on average boardgame geek says best with 4 people – but there's also a solo play video which reckons it's great solo. That's helpful |

Played this last year. A friend got it off ebay minus the figures. We ended up using Judge Dredd figures as substitutes. We got a couple of games done in an evening. If you can get it cheap enough then go for it. |

Thanks everyone – bought it! Think I'll use proxy figures to get going sooner, now, where are my Karn Troopers?
