Got back from the Throne of Skulls: Rotwater Blight event at GW HQ late last night, and have penned a few words about my time there. This is quite a long one with lots of piccies, but you can get the full scoop here! link

I still think GW has done the wrong thing with dumping Warhammer, they have lost me as a customer and I did spend a good few thousand pounds a year. Jules |

I still think GW has done the right thing with creating AoS. They have regained me as a customer and I've spent over $1,350 USD on AoS stuff since July. |

It sounds like it was a great weekend and a lot of fun. Your army looks fantastic and I think it deserved its place in the cabinet. I've not really even looked at the Seraphon. I have a Bastiladon sitting in the closet that I got do some giant stompy monster gaming but haven't gotten around to yet. Maybe I'll buy one of those getting started sets with the Lizardmen. That plus a couple of other boxes should get me a decent lizardman army. If I got that and the set with the book at the skinks I'd probably only need some Terradons to have a decent force. Thanks for posting a review of the event. I'd love to make it over sometime for one of those along with a general trip home but it is tough transporting the figures across the pond. Although the plastics do make it much easier. |

Pictors: If you come over to the UK and can get to Swindon, I'll provide all models for a few games :) |

I will take you up on that the next time I'm there. I'm actually originally from Nottingham and am a UK citizen living in the US. Don't tell anyone. I plan to swing through the Southern part of the country on my next visit. |

Are British 'citizens' now and no longer 'subjects'? Not being snarky, just curious. Shed that skin 20 or so years ago. Enjoy (both)your AoS write-ups. My son's Christmas presents were the box set and hardcover to go with his wood elves. |

Nobody has ever told me otherwise so, as far as I know, I still have to do everything the Queen tells me to do… On the other hand, she is supposed to be protecting me from lawmakers, and I am not so sure she has been holding up her end of the bargain. Seems to be doing okay on the invasion from a foreign power thing though. |

PS: Nice set of reports and congrats on winning a prize. None of my group are yet sold on AoS at all. |

Love your reports. I follow your blog as well. Age of Sigmar resparked my desire for fantasy wargaming. I love it! I am currently painting Stormcasts enternals with empire allies. |
