We game primarily in Napoleonic, French & Indian War, American War of Independence, War of 1812 and the American Civil War, all in 6mm. Hello sebastien! Thanks, I'm hooked and have been now for some 40 years, what can I say. The club is in it's 51st. year. Hello Dan 055! I'm in the east end of Scarborough at Port Union and the 401. Easy access from anywhere in the GTA, by car, bus or Go Train. Where are you? Are you interested in seeing what we do? Best regards to you both, Glenn |

Hello Glen, unfortunately I'm in Hamilton. Toronto's west end might be accessable for me but the east end is a bit far I'm afraid. |

Hello Dan 055! Ah, sounds similar to a familiar movie, "A Bridge Too Far". We have members from all over southern Ontario that travel an even greater distance. One drives right past you from Welland. We only play once a month on Sundays when traffic is generally light so the distance from west Toronto to east is 10-15 minutes. They treat coming here just like going to a convention, only better. It's free to get in, your guaranteed a place at the table, you get to play a "World Class" game with some old and new friends, and get a free lunch. What could be better? If any of this changes your mind, or you want to know more just drop me a line. Best regards, Glenn |

Hey Dan, What era/scale are you interested in? I'm in Mississauga at the moment and for the foreseeable future, and I'd like to get some more historical stuff in. Though I have to say my primary area of interest is probably bronze age or classical ancients, but it's not like I currently have any minis assembled for anything, so I'm game for most things. Glenn, I'll drop you a line. |

Got a blog post up about Sunday's game at Glenn's. It's Glenn's written AAR with some notes from my side, plus photos of the field of battle at the end of the game. link
Hmm, don't know why the photo's so small here, it's bigger on the blog if you click on the photo from there. |

Which rules are you guys playing for Napoleonics? |
Glenn Pearce | 22 Jan 2016 8:08 a.m. PST |
Hello JJMicromegas! For about the last 6 years or so we have been developing a rule set for Baccus in their Polemos series covering North American Wars 1754-1815. Which will probably be released this year. As they are designed to cover a broad period of the Horse & Musket wars and were developed in house we use them for all of our games from 1754 to the ACW. It saves having to learn new rules for every different period. Those are basically the entire rules in a condensed form or "quick reference sheet" on one side of a single sheet of paper that you see in the photos. Best regards, Glenn |
