I just posted a new video on the Combat Patrol (TM) Web page that demonstrates the Double Random (TM) Activation mechanic used in the game.
See the video here: link Enjoy! |

Thanks for the new video. Got the rules and the cards. I'm thinking of using your system for the Spanish Civil War (at least for solo play). |

They should work very well for Spanish Civil War. I didn't create stats for some of the vehicles, particularly the homemade ones. When you create those stats please post them to the Look, Sarge, No Charts Yahoo group and also here on TMP. I am sure that others will appreciate the stats. Buck |

JJ -- Decks "A" and "B" are the same. Each "deck" consists of four identical "Action Decks" of 50 cards each and one "Activation Deck". Each of the 8 "Action Decks" (4 from "A" and 4 from "B") has a different colored back to tell them apart. You basically need one "Action Deck" per side. As your games get bigger you will probably want one deck per player with each player controlling about a platoon plus attachments. His website has more detailed description of the game: link |

If you watch his videos he uses "short" (2 squad) platoons on each side with each side using it's own "Action Deck". It looks like you need one action deck/platoon. So an "A" or "B" deck gives you enough cards for each side to have two platoons. |

That's right. For solo play you only need set A -OR- set B, not both. Enjoy! |

Really enjoyed this video. I now have the cards and the advanced pdf. I want to play this after watching. |

Thanks for your support, War Panda. After you play, if you see another topic that could be made more clear with another instructional video, let me know. Also, please post some battle reports. I really enjoy reading about how people are having fun with the rules. *That* is the payoff for the years of development. Enjoy! Buck |
