Gear Precision Models produces a line of detailed pewter and color 3d printed warships from WWII to current designs such as the DDG1000 Zumwalt in multiple scales. Currently the pewter models are diplay quality finished pieces (like Franklin Mint or Rawcliffe Pewter). If there is enough interest generated they may be convinced to sell pewter kits. gearpm.com

To be honest the surface finish doesn't look compared with existing ranges of high quality 1/1200 models and the prices are pretty steep. |

For the price of one of those models I could purchase multiple fleets elsewhere. I'll pass. |

And the WWII models shown aren't even very good… At the very least, the gun turrets on Arizona are too wide and flat. The Iowa class BB has a seriously misshapen hull. Definitely not worth the ridiculous prices. |
