Who doesn't love mentally-deficient muscleheads being attacked by various forms of wildlife?

I just put together a short article featuring some covers from men's magazines from the '50s and '60s. By this I mean, "Made fun of the people in the pictures'. Take a a look:

Nancy Ott comments, "And let's face it, most girls are not into guys who are covered in open wounds."

Note to self "Do not go into the wild without a shirt" huh?

On the cover of "Fury", with the caption "I watched myself being eaten alive!" … does anyone else get the impression this is a picture of the striped-shirted man trying to stuff his friend back in to the shark's mouth?

Sticks, the earliest form of lobster tenderizer.

How did "Eaten Alive by Killer Pigs" not rate a cover painting?

Nice. Am working on details for Thuggee attack on Khyber bound pack train, camels and oxen. Pulp Figures Sikh platoon guards the strung out caravan. If vultures alight near wounded guys ignored by squad mates, whole squad drops a morale point. Three wart hogs. Will also attack wounded if not attended. Caravan must cross rope bridge under which circulate 12 crocs. Tic toc

How did those "crabs" which are actually lobsters manage to jump up in that guy's face? Hilarious stuff, Howard!

Those lobster/crabs have great vertical leap implied by the lead that they "crawl to kill".

And of course the term "cannibal" means they eat their own, not semi-naked mentally-deficient muscleheads.

I think they're supposed to be the deadly coconut crab:

They eat coconuts.

John Secker09 Jan 2016 3:12 p.m. PST

They're deadly if you happen to be a coconut.

"I think they're supposed to be the deadly coconut crab"

Wow! Those things are *ugly*!

Ahh, the era of Walter Mitty. Long may he reign.

Now Cannibal Crabs would actually be crabs that eat other crabs.

Shouldn't that title have stated

Man-Eating Crabs Crawl to Kill
