According to "The Hollywood Reporter" HBO has signed a deal for 8 Seasons of GoT. The Principal Actors apparently are only signed through Season 7. |

Actually the books, as is almost always true, are better than the series so yes, there is a loss. |

Yes the books are much better. We now have the major problem that the TV stuff may spoil the books. Bit frustrated with Martin for not getting Winds of Winter out (he's frustrated too). May have to put the serias on hold till it appears. More seasons though is a good idea – but only if the show runners don't stray to far from the books (as they did this season with Dorne – almost made up for it with Winterhome though). TomT |
