I just completed a 20mm Macedonian phalangite phalanx with minis from Newline Designs and pikes from Warlord Games. Each mini is individually mounted so I can take away casualties and the base is from Wargames Buildings. I rounded the edges of the base with a dremel and the shield designs are transfers from Veni Vidi Vici. The pikes are metal rods rather than being cast and so are far less likely to bend. Paints are from Foundry. The photos are just from my phone and so aren't all great. I'm an intermediate painter and am pretty happy with the way this came out. Any comments or recommendations are appreciated.

They look great to me, you should be proud. Of course, they'll need to be blooded before you really know how they're gonna go! :)

Those are very nice!

You could think about extending the base forward under the levelled pikes. This would help to protect the minis in play, and can look rather good if you put a casualty mini on it.
