From Mantic Games… "The Walking Dead: All Out War will be set in the engaging and immersive post-apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead comic series. Having the comic license gives us far more freedom to reproduce from all the rich and evocative artwork, and over 149 issues of the comics. This offered the biggest choice of factions and characters – in fact the widest scope possible to explore the setting and heroes. Finally the comic license also gives us direct access to the Skybound team, and insight into the world by the people who actually created it! We will bring the pages to life with fantastic models that will cry out to be painted, slick game play and it'll all be part of an awesomely fun gaming experience."

I'm semi-interested in this, but don't have too high of expectations. I could always just use the figures for ATZ (or another zombie game). |

If they make the mins compatable with Zombicide mins it would help sales. Seen a lot of people just use the Z-cide mins and not play the game (Great game BTW). Making the players choose lines can only hurt them. |

Dreadball, Warpath, Mars Attacks---all around $500 USDK Deadzone---$1.2M I am thinking for sure that Walking Dead will be a Kickstarter---probably with a bunch of stretch goals and a decent amount of terrain |

Too late for me. The last thing I need at this point is another zombie game. |

They have already shown a mini of Carl, so I think we will see minis from the tv show. At least, those from the comics that made it into the tv show. Not sure about any characters that are only in the tv show. And I don't know for sure, but doubt it will be a Kickstarter. I signed up for the dedicated newsletter, and they said the next four weekly issues would highlight the latests posts, videos and previews. Sounds like the minis are done, and the rules are done (or far enough down the pipeline to show vids of sample gameplay). Doesn't mean it won't be a Kickstarter, but this is more news that I am used to seeing from Mantic before they go the KS route. |

New Details about Walkers In The Walking Dead… "There are three ways that the Walkers in the game will… umm… walk. The first is that they will automatically lunge after anyone that gets within a certain distance of them. This range is known as the "kill zone" as one would expect from such a game. The second way is one that's also fairly expected, as it's well-known that zombies are attracted to noises. So shooting off guns or running is only going to draw more to you (making the fact that a favored way of getting rid of zombies is shooting them in he head a bit of a catch-22). Finally, the game uses Event Cards for various things that might happen while playing. These can also end up moving zombies around the board, because even though they tend to stick to certain patterns, zombies are still a bit unpredictable…" See here link Amicalement Armand |
