A while ago I mentioned I had 54mm Russian and Turk armies and that I would stage a wargame. This is a bit of a taster for the game that we will be staging in a week or so and an AAR will follow. Hope you enjoy the pictures

Excellent. I've been giving a lot of thought lately to my 54mm projects.

Excellent. Are those plastic or metal figures?

abc wargamers07 Jan 2016 3:55 a.m. PST

Hi Warwizard

They are all metal.

Splendid stuff! Thank you for sharing. I think we're all looking forward to the AAR with much anticipation!

Many thanks for all your kind words. Hopefully the game will live up to expectation! Whatever happens it will be a lighthearted and fun game for Bob and I. Can see a RCW game in the making if this works. At least all my other Russians won't need as much dusting!

My goodness they are lovely. Have a great, fun game.

Very nice! I have always liked Russians in those white blouses and caps. Some of the Turks look like Egyptians.

Lovely looking game – I am really tempted by the Turks.

I wonder if they might be Dorset figures – I seem to remember Stuart saying he'd bought various figures from Giles at Dorset.
