As the title indicates, this game was played a couple of months ago, in two installments. I was one of the players, and the GM (Brian) asked me to finalize publishing it online.

It was one of our first games of KoW, with a big 2300 point battle between Elves and the Undead.

That's a very nice, detailed AAR! How was Kings of War, compared to whichever version of WHFB you may want to remember?

I think I liked it far better. The one hiccup I kept having was thinking of three dice rolls in combat, which was just a habit from WHFB. If there was another habit, it was overcomplicating the magic phase, in which I was deluding myself that I was missing a step, all the while I was doing it right.

I haven't built my own army lists (Brian actually built the armies from his own collection), but I do like that the army building process is quite forward. My big problem is how I'll translate my own collection.
