Did somebody say, "Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker?"

At least they aren't in chain-mail bikinis!

My wife would look good in one of those outfits.

Hmmmm… First Created Kickstarter….. Company in Greece… Yea…. I think I'll pass.

MicroWorld Games05 Jan 2016 6:22 p.m. PST

As an aside, this is actually their second kickstarter. I believe they fulfilled their first pretty close to on time.

They also actually released a plastic set with their own money some time ago, so I think they are committed. There is always some risk where Kickstarter is involved though.

TheKing3005 Jan 2016 7:49 p.m. PST

My apologies- I misread. When I saw the company profile, it said first Kickstarter. I didn't realize they hadn't counted this yet. Still, coming out of Greece, I have serious reservations. If I really like the figures I'll wait to they come to production.

I think the companys reference should outweight any reservations based upon… exactly what speaks against Greece?
Personally I am glad for anything produced (or created, as I assume production will be in the UK) in Greece that sells, more so if I actually want it :-)

The first KS had nothing I wanted (sorry), but I am quite sure I am in this time. It still depends on the actual offer. The weapons look oversized, but nothing a knife cannot fix.

I was in their 1st KS, and got everything that I ordered, some very nice sculpts by Patrick Keith. There were some minor delays due to the Greek banking crisis, but I don't think that it was anymore than a couple of weeks late at the most. Most importantly they gave us regular updates (including any delays & why), and communication is what is important. I have no worries & I'm pretty sure that I'll be in for this KS too.

Nothing against Greece personally but their economy is less than stable. That factors into a decision to back a Kickstarter.

Well, any KS is of course a gamble of sorts, and nobody can relieve you of the decision wether you want to put your mony on the line or not.

Personally l am quite confident that for now Greece is stable enough for a company to do business. They are, after all, asking for crowd funding, not state funds :-)

Yep. Asking for funds. After seeing All Quiet on the Martian Front, Winter Wars and a couple of others I'm a bit more cautious. But we do agree on one point – it's a personal decision to put your hard earned money on the line. That being said, I wish you all the best and hope it comes in ahead of schedule :)
