"Get a look at the GIANT new lavabeasts – the brand new Dwarf monster that was spotted in WD 102! It looks like the White Dwarf was spotted in France, and is making the rounds already this morning…" link

oh dear god what have they done to those dwarves :( |
waaslandwarrior | 04 Jan 2016 2:48 p.m. PST |
Is anyone actually spending money on this??? Knowing GW, it will not be cheap either. |

Love all the new models they are doing now, just not at those prices anymore :( |
Mithmee | 04 Jan 2016 6:34 p.m. PST |
Oh look all the Dwarves are Troll Slayers that look like they are totally naked. Yup, GW has jumped the shark with AoS. |

Those dwarf slayers are ridiculous and outlandish. They look cool as heck! |
Garand | 04 Jan 2016 10:30 p.m. PST |
Prices are absurd: Fyreslayers Hearthguard (5 miniatures) – 33€ 25£ 40$ Fyreslayer Vulkite Berserkers (10 miniatures) – 45€ 35£ 60$ So that's $8 USD per figure for the first set, and $6 USD per figure for the second. And these are PLASTIC minis. I was looking forward to this release. Finally, plastic slayers! Even if they did look wonky, buy a box and see if they grow on you. But not for those prices… Damon. |

Seems not many fans here… (smile) Amicalement Armand |
Mithmee | 05 Jan 2016 7:45 p.m. PST |
Actually from conversions that I have had with the owner of the local FLGS there are not many fans of AoS at all. Oh and I bet this will show in GW earnings report later this year. |
HUBCommish | 06 Jan 2016 2:39 a.m. PST |
Sure, they're overpriced. But why would anyone ever pay GW's retail prices when the internet exists? |
Garand | 06 Jan 2016 9:59 a.m. PST |
Even at 20% off they're still too expensive for plastic figures! That's $6.40 USD or $4.80 USD per, in an army where I'd need like 40 figures (I still play 8th, no AoS nonsense for me…). I can buy Reaper metals for cheaper than that at a similar discount (even without a discount, and the GW stuff at 20%, the Reaper metals are still cheaper…). Damon. |

Wasn't aware Reaper makes metal dwarf slayers. I'd like to take a look a them, link please? |

So basically a brunch of naked Dwarves. Plus what is up with those Trojan type helmets? These dwarves have jump the shark. |
Iron Crane | 14 Jan 2016 6:41 p.m. PST |
I got to see them assembled today. They aren't bad at all however I don't have time to start another army at the moment so these will have to wait awhile. |
Barin1 | 18 Jan 2016 8:30 a.m. PST |
Not sure about these…I have slayer army already, plus Avatars of War slayers. may be they're supposed to look like Spartans, but why this lizard monster thingie in the army, especially for the army who's main point was monster slaying… May purchase some for collection, but I guess it will be from ebay later on. Especially with our exchange rate at the moment ;) |
noigrim | 18 Jan 2016 12:45 p.m. PST |
monster slayer on monsters… |
Mithmee | 19 Jan 2016 2:32 p.m. PST |
but why this lizard monster thingie in the army Simple large overprice model that GW can make for around $10 USD-$20 and then sell for over $100. USD GW thinks bigger is better. |
