I completed my first 32-figure battalion of Warfare Miniatures Russian infantry for the Great Northern War. These were really fun figures to paint and I can't wait to tackle some more very soon.

I use 32-figure battalions based on five stands of 6-6-8-6-6 with the center stand including two flags and six pikemen. Officers and drummers are offset behind the second rank to form a virtual third rank. The bases are 60mm wide by 80mm deep to allow for the third rank as well as to protect the leveled bayonets and pikes from handling damage.

Lovely. GNW will be one of my periods one day. Always loved the games I played round at Mark D's house.

I completely endorse all the comments – superb work Jim, it makes the effort of getting them to market completely worthwhile. Please have a look at the 5 new Russian codes (25 models) which I posted separately today.
