Were any of the SC units (State or Continental) involved in any major battles besides Savannah? |

They were heavily involved in the British campaign that culminated in the surrender of Charleston. |

After that, almost only SC units are militia and partisans. The Continentals and state troops mostly go into the bag at Charleston. |

It depends on how you define MAJOR BATTLES, but I believe elements SC units were involved in most between 1775 and the fall of Charleston. There were even SC infantrymen who were lost in the Carribean while serving as marines. I believe after that there were a few state horse units raised, but don't know much about them. There is a fairly decent website at link . |
