I don't have any Yanks, but I do have Dutch and Germans for the mid 80s. Are other countries going to be covered?

Tgunner03 Jan 2016 12:34 p.m. PST

They weren't in Team Yankee but I'm sure they'll get covered. Battleground is just testing the waters.

Once you get the Leopards you will have stats for their tanks. I would assume an AIFV would be pretty easy to cobble together from Bradly and M113 stats.

Yes.

I believe, as mentioned above, that the British and West Germans are slated for late in the year.

I've posted some armor stats for other vehicles, and how they were derived, so you can use as is, or tweak for them to be more in line with TY, if you prefer.

A/T penetration stats can be roughly derived from TY, and/or other rules and open source data.

Vehicle movement rates, similarly as well.

The national and force attributes are probably the most difficult to come to grips with, since there seems to be a lot of subjectivity with those.

We have the AIFV, and will shortly be adding the DAF YP-408.

Looking forward to the YP, myself.

It is a nice looking vehicle.

I can pick the Dutch up from US/German lists – Leo2s, and the YPR765 is effectively a M113 with 25mm canon, but before I seriously consider it I want to make sure I don't need to buy more metal!

Further Q's.

Now looking at it properly – It appears to be a FoW evolution. Now that's a divisive set of rules.

What unit scale is it – I'd be using my 6mm with it, I may well play 'as is', given gound/figure disparity in most rules, or sub in cm for inches. I think I have the best part of a Soviet Spearhead (1 tank = platoon) Division in the garage – nice to get SOME of them out occasionally!
