I also got 5 out of 7. Also, I would recommend not trying to repeat at home the experiment that lead to the invention of guncotton… |

Wow, 7 out of 7, but I admit #4 was a guess. Glad it was a history quiz though |

5 of 7. I even got the question about the Somme "right", even though their answer is actually wrong, since it was the number of British Army deaths for the entire Western Front for the week in which the first day of the Somme was the final day of the accounting week, including at least three traffic fatalities in Paris. |

4 correct. I guessed most of the answers. What does Madame Blavatski and the Theosophist Society have to with the Somme? Several other questions seemed very tangential to the Battle of the Somme in my opinion. |

Five of seven, but I only absolutely knew two of them. The rest were inspired guesses. |

6 out of 7 but one was a wild guess. Let me just say that Porter's claim is dubious… |
John the Greater | 04 Jan 2016 8:55 a.m. PST |
6 of 7. I knew the estimate of the number of casualties the first day on the Somme but I had to guess on how many of those poor devils were killed outright. |
