A "How to play" section to link vids .
I would like to have short how to play on lots of different rules so a person could see if it was the set for them.

Could use a revamp/renewal of the old Rules Review section(s), which I'm not sure still exist, but if they don't, they should.

It'd also be nice to see a Reference Section, for common questions which seem to come up every week, if not more frequently, e.g. TO&E info, paint color info, rules options for different periods, etc., etc.. That stuff doesn't change very often, if at all, so would be very useful to many, I suspect.

Sundance and sneakgun may be on to something.

I'm with the better search function and "Like" button crowd. That and what David Manley says.

100% with Skip and Legion.

The search function tends to work for me most of the time, though it is a bit erratic – sometimes it works very quickly, while at other times it ends up in a time-out.

However, currently the search works across all the boards, so if you query for "artillery" you might end up getting hits ranging from ancient catapults to futuristic auto-mortars. It would be nice to restrict such query to posts from a single board.

Getting rid of the need for daily maintenance would seem to be an obvious one.

I can think of a few things it needs less of…

Either fizzy paint-water or atomic pants.

Update and return of the old Rules Directory. I found it to be an excellent resource for comparing rules sets as well as giving a beginner to a period an idea of what was "out there".

"Submit New Topic" button working. I have working for about 15 minutes now from both my computer and my phone to get my blog update posted so it will show up on the front page and allow me to cross post it. I am having no problem replying to topics already started, but cannot seem to start a topic of my own in an acceptable manner. This has been happening more and more lately, and it is starting to bug me.

Another vote for easier posting of images.

The words I use might upset some gentle soul who would then have to run to their "safe space", complain to an editor and I'd get thrown in the dawghouse.

Safer just to not post anything.

Ability to post photos with ease…If "4.0" is being worked on now why are you asking for opinions on what we want from the forum? Unless I misunderstood I thought "4.0" was close to completion…

Some way to track what threads I've posted to, and a way to otherwise track ones I'm interested in, sort of like a personal pinning. There have been very useful threads (how-tos, book lists, etc.) that if I don't print off right away, I'm unlikely to find again, particularly if the subject line isn't clearly related to the actual subject.

Needs more boobies. Maybe we could just make a board with that title?
