So I'm using the day off to open my box of Potecknovs Bears. The box has you just shy of 50 points. With 9 tanks you get 1 Hq, and two units of 4 tanks. Two Hinds make another unit. The only shame is that Hind sprues don't have 6 infantry on them. The air assault infantry is an added purchase unfortunately. I'm grading the box contents a B due to the extra infantry purchase. Now, off to assembly! |

I've heard a rumor someone is making plastic disks to replace the rotor blades. Can anyone confirm? |

During assembly my box had 10 tanks. This goes give you an HQ and 3 units of 3 option but still short of 50 points. A running rotor option would be interesting; sort of like how I used to use acetate sheets for airplane propellers on the static plastic kits I made. |

I just saved the clear plastic from all my grand daughters presents to make my own rotors. Fatman |

I can't recommend Hurlbat too highly. I haven't seen their 1/100 scale stuff, but I have lots of 1/300 rotors. Their service is excellent, and they're open to making 'bespoke' diameters. 'Blade shimmer' (sorry, don't know the correct term) is etched into the rotor disc, the correct number of rotors for the particular helo. |
