SAGA: Normans vs Crusaders

Grant and I met up for a friendly game of SAGA this afternoon. It turned out to be anything but friendly (from the Norman perspective) and one of the most lopsided victories (or defeats). The Normans looked good dying and running away as the crusaders swept the field. Although a good number of crusaders fell by Norman arrows, it was not enough to change the outcome.

Grant: Justice was served to those who would bring three units of cowardly archers!

Charlie: It was a good thing my Warlord died – he would have been burned at the stake anyway for such a defeat – his son was beheaded. A new army has been raised and a new Champion promoted – look out Grant!!!! Peasants are training on the archery range as we speak……

PS: it was an UGLY game for me!!
