Yesterday I painted up this unit of Hungarians. They are all Front Rank figures and all of the shooters have the same catalogue code, but they are two very different sculpts. I seem to remember someone telling me that Alec had redesigned his SYW range at some point in the past. It seems, having bought half the unit from ebay and half direct from Alec, I have a unit combining the new and the old.

The French were also redesigned, or improved, at some point, and they are among the best in the whole FR SYW range.

..which for the French was their third incarnation as the first were the Irish piquets from the very, very first Jacobite range – which at the time were about the only French you could get beyond Minifigs and Surčn!…
