After the Meiji Restoration, what color was Japanese equipment, such as carriages, cannons, and machine guns? My brief research has shown medium grey to dark grey, but I wanted to double check with sources I trust (meaning y'all.)

I think the medium gray is correct. There seems to be a paucity of information. I even emailed Taki once, and he couldn't track it down, either. He is a good source for weapon statistics, though.

IIRC from a wandering of the Yasukuni museum, gun carriages were light gray, and guns were black/dark gray.
