Nice! Many a Warhammer orphan in our area has converted their old Warhammer armies over to Kings of War. I like Kings of War far more than Warhammer. While the game world Mantic has created is…well lacking, the mechanics of the rules for Kings of War are well done and easy to learn.The game rewards sound tactics and maneuver. Kings of War has what I call the Othello Principal as in the simple to learn game with black and white markers named Othello. It was advertised as easy to learn but years to master. I think that is the case with Kings of War. If nothing else Kings of War has me pulling my old Warhammer armies out of the closet and getting them dusted off and reorganized to play once again. And that is a good thing. |
