At Spartacon, in Lansing Michigan, January 9, 2016 My son and I will be doing a large battle of Tippecanoe, 1811. At the second session. 28mm, very large skirmish game. Individual figures, about 200 per side so we need 6-8 players. based on Ganesha Games ‘61-‘65 ACW RULES, back dated a bit. TIPPECANOE AND TENSKWATAWA TOO. Some sample pics from playtest.
final charge of the Kentucky mounted rifles.

That is a brilliant looking setup! Is this being run during the morning, afternoon, or evening session… I doubt I can make it…. But this looks good enough to make me want to really try! |

Looks great! I've got a batch of 1812 Indians and Americans in 15mm that I need to finish up and get on the table. I have a British army ready to match up with them. |

As I noted in the intro, we are doing this in the second session, but I did not note that the second session starts at 2 PM. It's a very interesting one of a kind game battle. One thousand federal Americans march across Indiana to destroy the stronghold of the Native Americans. Federals rest for the night and natives make a surprise attack. The native leader has given potions and spells to all those troops to make them invulnerable to bullets. A shock group of natives penetrate the sentries to eliminate general Harrison. Both sides are armed with firearms. Unlike most situations involving natives, they are in the minority by a few hundred but have the advantage of surprise. |
