This is truly, truly awesome research. I now have an excuse to not only field a werewolf in my French Napoleonic army, but also giant wardogs with human madmen's brains transplanted in my WWI German army! My opponents cannot complain; it is printed on the internet! (Hey, if Barker used to let Romans field a Currus Drepanus in his rules, I'm not too far off). Best line in the article… "In 2002, a Russian UFO group organized an expedition to take sonar readings of the lake, reporting a "huge jelly-like mass" lying just above the lakebed. Since this was Russia, they immediately lobbed an explosive device at it, prompting it to start rapidly rising to the surface." Thanks for sharing Redmenace. |

I agree with you Tony. Loved that line. "I say we take off and nuke the entire site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure." |

The part about the giant squid sighting is the only one I believe. I am still trying to figure out the meaning of the quote Tony referenced. "Since this was Russia…"? Is it an established fact that Russians carry around large amounts of explosives? Or maybe Russian UfO nuts carry bombs with them wherever they go? I am thinking about this to much. Where did this author get her sources? |

I can't confirm this but I suspect the sourcing was reading Nick Redfern books like the modestly titled "Nick Redfern's Monster Files" which preports to be made up of actual government secret documents about cryptid encounters. |

The report about the beast loose amongst the trenches at Mons would make a pretty cool movie. |
