Zvezda's catalogue for 2016 is here: link Lots of WW2 goodies in 1/100: - T-34/76 with F-32 gun (possibly with the hexagonal turret, but in case of Zvezda nothing is sure) - T-34/85 - SU-152 - IS-2 - ISU-152 - SU-100 - Jagdpanther - Ferdinand - Panther Ausf. A - Koenigstiger - Sturmtiger - Jagdtiger My guess is all the AFVs on Tiger chassis, as well as SU-152, ISU-152 and IS-2 will be bigger sets, like the Tiger or T-35. Sadly, nothing for the British or Americans. Art of Tactic planes: - I-16 - La-5 Art of Tactic infantry sets: - German HQ - Soviet HQ 1/72 vehicles - Koenigstiger - SU-100 - BMPT Terminator |

Very happy to see the Konigstiger, Jagdtiger and sturmtiger on there. The rest in 1/100 are pretty much covered nicely in plastic, apart from the ferdinand. I hope the Konigstiger is top of their list.. |

Well, this year is going to be exciting one! Too bad they couldn't get those planes out yet tho. Damn I'm going to get a ton of T-34's. |

Wait, WHAT!? Seems like Zvezda has bought Revell's 1200 mini-ship moulds. Yorktown, Iowa, Shinano and Yamato. |

They come out when they come out. I had over 100 kits preordered for 2015 and none ever made it to my distributor. So I will get some 1/100 when I can. |

Unrelated to 16's releases but I got new KV-1's and Tigers in my hands. KV-1 (6190) has both L-11 and F-32 skeletons on sprue so I'd assume Zvezda has decided to retire old kit in favour of new one. Goes together well like the old one. Tiger kit is interesting mixed bag of beautiful detail and bad moulding. While hull is well detailed and engine deck is PSC's level turret sides and mantlet are.. Let's say turret requires some effort to improve it from barely acceptable to good. Scalpel, file and PSC Tiger's spare parts help a lot. When I have both cats built I'll post a picture. |

T-34/85 I'll have 10, please. If they make a T-55 one day, I'll have 10 of those too. |

I'm thinking about forming a tank battalion with 31 T-34/85's. Hopefully they can achieve level of detail most of their 1/100's are. |

I already have one with the excellent Pegasus models. Now if they would make a KV-85…………. |

Pallinium take a look at Plastic Soldier Company. NWS Online has some great deals. The mid/late war battalion has 21 T-34s (they give you turrets to do both the 76 and 85 model making these very handy) plus 5 T-70s and works out to less than $3 USD a tank! link Normal price on a box of 5 of the T-34/76/85 is $20.00 USD so you can flesh out your unit. link They also carry Zvezda at $3 USD each so could save a bit of money on the additional 10 T-34s. |

I'm familiar with PSC. Most of my tanks are from them! Due to my location I can generally get Zvezda's kits slightly cheaper and more reliably than PSC's through retailer. |

Su-100.. link ..and Su-152 are out. link T-34's are coming soon. link We'll see Ferdinand very soon too. link Looks like those Russians are all in 200 rouble/3 pound/4,50 EUR price range. Affordable! Ferdinand might cost some more depinding on how many parts it is made of. I would still bet it'll be around 200 roubles too judging from preview images. |

- IS-2 - ISU-152 - Jagdpanther - Panther Ausf. A - Koenigstiger - Sturmtiger - Jagdtiger Those left. What do you think? Which comes out next? My bet would be that germans are going to get maybe Panther next. |

My mini dealer did a nice to me and had got Panther and IS-2 for me. This IS assembles flawlessly and is pretty much best model I've built from Zvezda so far. Cast quality is solid 9/10 with very minor flash around external tank struts but when model is complete flash isn't visible. Turret can be easily weighted with two nuts, M8 and M6 I believe. Hull accepts four of larger ones neatly, maybe five if you push your luck. We might very well be looking at the best 15mm plastic IS there is. I'm definitely getting more! |
