La Real was a Spanish galley and the flagship of Don Juan de Austria in the Battle of Lepanto in 1571, the largest battle between galleys in history. Was this a plastic kit, or is it scratch-built? Did you draw the flags, or are they commercially available? Do you use the model on the tabletop, or is it purely for display? If used for gaming, what rules do you use? Really quite beautiful!

No, I only used a hull of Sail of Glory, the other pieces are from langton (Napoleonic Xebec)and other pieces of ZVezda 1/350 ships. The stern is scratch-built. "Do you use the model on the tabletop, or is it purely for display?" This Galley is a order from a customer. I think He wants only colecting. "If used for gaming, what rules do you use?" Yes, there is a Kit but no scale 1/300 :-(
