Every time I see something like this I recall how I pronounced with great authority that French Light Infantry Regts did not have drummers…it was very early in my membership. Folk were very kind and pointed out that the Light Company of a Ligne Unit might not….but a Light Regt did. It is great to see the realism of figures en masse like this. We get used to Sharpe and Bonadarachuk where a few dozen or a few hundred are shown…in order to represent thousands. Odd in the latter case when you think was facilities he had! Great modelling |
