SAGA game day:

A few of us met up for some SAGA gaming in San Antonio TX. We played three games: Normans vs Saxons, Saracens vs Saxons and Normans vs Crusaders. Martin (Saxons), Grant (Crusaders) and Charlie (Normans & Saracens) play-tested one of the scenarios that will be played at the first SAGA tournament in San Antonio (23 January). These were both 4pt games

All mounted Saracens… I'd never thought of that!

Looks like everyone had a grand time. Grant scratching his head, Martin rubbing his chin…. Hehehe

Skip – they move fast, hit hard – but have a problem standing up to missile troops and not very good in melee. I run a 8xHearthguard unit with my warlord as my shock troops. Use the warrior bows to soften him up first. A fun army to play, really intimidates the foot armies.

Still painting Moors.
