I seem to recall doing the same myself many moons ago. Presumably I was feeling particularly holier than thou that day, as it does seem a bit of a daft thing to do, but I assume at the time it seemed a point worth making…. ;-) |

That was true for many years until the DawgHouse tunnels ran in to the Chinese tunnels that were crossing the Pacific. The 'D'oh-ful Hunds' of the DawgHouse prevented their invasion with a single Mad Minute of Harsh Language followed with volley fired LAWS from a stockpile that somebody tried to smuggle in breakout tools with. They were found easily and the LAWS were delivered to the inmates with a look of contemptual smugness. By the way…NEVER volley fire anti-tank rockets a la 'Zulu'. Too many pants caught fire. what were we talking about… |

Hello All:
Worry not. I have not gone off the deep end nor have I come down with cabin fever (yet). My DH'ing was due to breaking forum rules, no more, no less.
I would like first to make a public apology to Legion 4 for effectively "prosecuting" him and his beliefs on the ISIS Safe House thread. What I did was shabby, disrespectful and totally inappropriate for a hobby forum. Legion 4 I am sorry for treating you so badly.
I made a conscious decision to break the forum rules in order to make a political statement against the fear-driven militarism which has dominated the UM-board and when that was finished (plus a small tangent on a thread about Israel getting ready to attack Hezbollah), I PM'ed the Editor in Chief, explained what I had done, asked for the standard sentence for politics and then hit the complaint button on myself. Do the crime, do the time. I felt the stay in the hoosegow was a suitable price for trying to make a point about the futility of militarism as a tool for bringing peace to the Middle East. My only regret is that I treated Legion 4 so poorly.
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a prosperous and happy New Year. Peace be upon you all.
