I couldn't find my normal brand and picked up the Krylon. Has anyone used it on their mini's ? How did it turn out? |

Yes. It's comparable to Dullcote. |

Yes, use it often. I like it BETTER than dullcote. More forgiving IMHO. Damon. |

Ok great I typically use dullcote |

Krylon Matte is cheaper than Dullcote, has a far less powerful smell, covers well and lasts a lot longer than a can of Dullcote, but does not give as complete a matte finish as Dullcote. Krylon gives more of a satin-like finish in my experience. |

And Krylon Matte will be the villain in the next Star Wars movie! |

What everyone else said. I used for years and it holds up to being mauled. |

Sturdier than Dullcote but not as dull. |

Parzival, you deserve a Wookie for that. Thanks for the tips, lads. |

It has a slight glossy finish. I spray with this then dullcoat afterwards. |

I use it all the time. At others have said, not as dull as Dullcote but otherwise holds up well. |

Use it for my 15's and 6mm, but for 28's I spring for the Dullcote. Sometimes I'll use one layer of Krylon Matte, then a final shot of dullcote for the full flat. |

I use it. It sometimes leaves a bit of a shine though not as much as gloss coat. It is also finicky in humidity and can leave you with the dreaded "fog" so make sure you follow the directions on the can. Not too humid. Not too dry. |

Also use Dullcote over Krylon, for the extra matte effect. Of course,if it's toughness you're after, there's always a dip in the Pollyshade. That way,if you lose your hammer you can use a figure on that nail. |

It dries to a satin or semi-gloss finish. Krylon Flat dries flat. I get it at WalMart. Tom |

Krylon Dullcote is one of my standards. Works perfectly. |
