I must be feeling the Christmas spirit or something, because this week I wanted a snow-covered battlefield.

We're playing out a lesser known piece of the Battle of the Bulge, with Montgomery's British (Royal Welch Fusiliers) vs. elite Panzergrenadiers, with tanks on both sides. A very intense game!

The weather outside is frightful,
but your panzerfaust is so delightful?

Doesn't quite have the same ring to it….

Maybe …
Peiper the snowman was a jolly happy soul?

Nah.

Nice battlefield.

Nice looking table and figures, Superb AAR!
Agreed your tanks do need decals.

PzIII J Long 50L60: that looks like the model your have in the first picture of German tanks. High velocity gun good penetrating power.
The other PzIII N with side skirts has a 75L24 short gun.
Late in the war these were assigned to platoons of Tigers to give them some anti-infantry punch, rather than using an 88 round. The 75L24 had low velocity round with decent armour penetrating at closer ranges.

Idontbelieveit – I prefer the former. ;)

wrgmr1 – Thanks for the clarification!

To fire the 50 on an M4, does someone have to be outside the turret?
Thinking the 2 30 cals would work well too though without the cover shift.
