Some years back I bought some 20mm scale resin parachutes on the ground to use to depict a DZ in airborne games. These were painted and used many time, but over the years have got damaged to the point of now being virtually unusable.

I cannot remember who made them & have trawled the internet to try to find this information. Lancer Miniatures make some but these are not the ones I have/had, so do any of the fine people on TMP know of other manufacturers who make discarded parachutes on the ground for 20mm scale?

Many thanks for your help.

You may try sculpting yourself, it is not so difficult:

Thanks Gents – it was the Grubby tanks 'chutes & drop containers that I had. The ones from Gamecraft look amazing & I may just have to get some of these too.

Many thanks for your help.

Nice work, I love your conversions and painting! So, how did you make those 'chutes? They look so much better than the small, flat "dead squid" you get in a set :) I've used small paper cake or candy baking paper cases to make mine – they don't look too bad and you can get that billowing effect of the wind taking them as the trooper struggles with his harness. Best of all they are cheap!!

I roll a d6 for each trooper landing: a 6 means he gets free right away, 2 though 5 he is replaced with one of these marker figures. Next turn, he frees himself on a 5 or 6, the third turn 4,5 or 6 and so on. If he throws a 1 on the first turn, he's injured on landing so can only move (painfully!) at crawl speed the rest of the game

Just some GS and some time. And white cotton thread superglued after painting.

Nice rules. Good idea to underline neccesity to free from ropes.
