I have been working on my Russian SYW army using a Mix of RSM, Minden French without lapels, and Crann Tara Savoy figures. Here are a couple of pix of the RSM Russian grenadiers with some Minden French officers and standard bearers in the same unit. The two ranges are very size compatible :

Nice job on the flags too! I wish I could replicate your accomplishment for my 54mm plastic Russian grenadier unit.

I had tons of RSM back in the day -- they have a very Old School feel to them. I much prefer them to highly detailed figures.

This is why I like the Russians in coats--they're so nice and Christmasy! Yes,I know they mostly didn't wear them in the battles,but MY colonels would all be martinets.

Besides,in just waistcoats they look like Brits on Casual Friday.
