These are my first painted Colonials figures, 28mm Boxers from Old Glory. I did the best I could in researching colors and flags.

Let me know what you think!

I like 'em!

The Old Glory figures are rarely impressive in raw metal, but give them some paint and they really come to life.

Well done!

Thank you!

Nice work PR!
I painted up some OG Boxers years ago. One of my Chinese employees translated words and phrases for me so I could get the right letters to paint on the clothing.

The flag is lovely--but Manchu, and not the first choice of the Boxers!

Yes, they did fall in with the ruling Dynasty once the shooting began, but they were as much against them as the Foreign Devils.

At the obvious risk of tooting our own merchant's horn, please take a look at the authentic Boxer Flags available in all scales here: link

I think you'll find they might save you some time and effort, and can really give your Boxer boys some added snark!

Mr. TVAG, I *did* look at yours, and may upgrade to them at some point. I made mine by downloading free images, putting them together in a .pdf, and getting them printed for pocket change. My two vertical banners (for some units) with chinese symbols are from a uniform reference, no idea what they say. Likewise for my other yellow triangular banner.
