I may be relocating to the Fayetteville area of North Carolina and wanted to know of any active clubs or other historical miniature gamers there.

Bernhard, send me an e-mail:

There are active gaming groups in several places in
NC, Fayetteville being one of them.

The largest is in the Triangle area (Raleigh, Durham,
Chapel Hill) but there are several gamers in F'ville,
a couple of them who do superb games

Lots up here in Charlotte as well, but that's three hours from you…

Stop by The Hobbit Hobby shop on Yadkin Road just outside Ft Bragg. They sell a lot of gaming stuff.

Bernhard, welcome to wargaming heaven. Ed is wayyyy too modest about the group in Raleigh and the Triangle. You will never meet nor game with a better bunch of fellows. And anything I could say about the quality of games or eye candy would be less than an understatement. The Fayetteville and Charlotte crowd also do some stellar work and run some great games.

You can find just about any historical period you would want to game as well as a variety of fantasy and sci fi. Also don't want to leave out the crowd in Wilmington NC and our South Carolina brothers who also attend our local convention.
