I ran a Winter War game last night using Combat Patrol. The battle report and pictures are posted here: bucksurdu.com/blog/?p=4659

The game was fun, and it was good to get my old Winter War 20mm figures on the table again. It has been many years, and my Finns have been feeling lonely. :)

Cool AAR.

I really like the rules write up and videos describing play of Combat Patrol. I might (read as will) have to buy.

Huron:

Thanks! I hope you enjoy the rules.

If you are in the US and come to Cold Wars, I will be running several games during the convention. I will be running three games: Poland 1939, France 1940, and Finland 1939 (the scenario at the top of this thread, but fixed). A member of our club is running a game using the rules but set in the Napoleonic Wars. Finally, another member of our club is going to run some British colonial games using the rules. Come by and say hello.
