I think it's different enough that HG can go do something anatomically improbable. Besides, HG doesn't own the image rights anymore. A Japanese court stripped them from the company that HG partnered with. |

It's not quite as clear cut as that. HG pulled the ultimate…. can I use the term in here? Guess not, they pulled a phallus move then. They trademarked the title Macross and UNSpacy in the US, Canada and Europe. So now nothing with the title Macross to it can be marketed in those regions without HG getting royalties from it. Copyrights expire after a time, trademarks never expire. HG doesn't seem to care what a court in Japan has to say over this matter. This is a company that has to be taken apart piece by piece if necessary. |
