I have to admit that I don't generally think of WWII in terms of glossy, but this has convinced me. They look very good and are a refreshing change from the grittier approach one usually expects. I've painted up big collections of glossy soldiers myself (HYW and colonials) and totally agree that it is a freeing experience.

Are your figures plastic? 54mm?

Daryl- these are plain old Airfix 1/72 plastics, nothing fancy at all! The Stug is Armourfast and the Pak 40 is Zvezda. Both quite new models. Glad you like them- I shall certainly post details as soon as they see action!
