It's getting around the end of the year, the perfect time to start planning the projects for the next 365 days. I've been working on fantasy stuff for the past few years, and it's well past time to pack it up, not look at it for a while, and work on something different. After giving it some thought, I've decided on a sort of Imagi-nations project, focusing on those eternal rivals the Royal Estate of Delbruk and the Benevolent and Loyal Ustinovian Empire…yes, yes, it's RED vs. BLUE. As you may imagine, this is not intended to be serious. At all. In fact, I have every intention of making sure that it's downright silly, so I need models to suit. Can anyone recommend some semi-modern models (Infantry, tanks, etc.) That would suit such a cartoonish idea? |

Why not look at the Interwar years (1919-1939). You could use WW1 figures, guns, and vehicles, as well as some very early WW2 stuff, Spanish Civil War, Irish Uprising, Banana Wars, Back of Beyond in China, Russian Civil War, Balkan Wars, etc. The scope of useable figures, guns, and vehicles is mind-boggling. And for size, you can do it is 15mm, 20mm/1:72, and 28mm. Jim |

Use 7YW or Napoleonic uniform colors for WWII troops. I never had the guts or talent to do that. |
