Recently I have published some pictures of Jacklex 20mm colonial troops. Unit pictures are fun, but I thought you might like to see them in action.

I did indeed. Beautiful little figures moving across a lovely, uncluttered battlefield in an exciting scenario--what more could anyone want? It's all very inspiring. Thank you!

Edit: Do you happen to know if Jacklex and Raventhorpe are compatible?

Jacklex are 20mm (Airfix size) while Raventhorpe are largish 25mm. I don't think they are compatible at all – I certainly wouldn't use them together. If you went for plastics of course now there are loads of HaT colonials which would probably match up well but to be honest I don't think they would add any significant troop types to what you can get with the Jacklex figures

Lucky the train wasn't running – it'd have been derailed! grin

Super looking game !

My mistake! For some reason I thought Raventhorpe's figs were 20mm. Thank you for correction, Vintage!

Absolutely gorgeous.

Hi 20th Maine, know what you mean about the track. No fish eyes on that bit of track to make the connections and I moved the cloth which made it more obvious, funnily enough I was going to add a train, just as well I didn't otherwise it would have been badly derailed!
